Energy shares soar on positive brokerage report, led by MGL and JSW Energy

The Nifty Energy index gained nearly 1% due to positive brokerage views, taking the 5-session rise to 3.3%. Aegis Logistics led the pack with 7.5% gain to Rs 815.6. Other gainers included Mahanagar Gas, Reliance Power, and Tata Power, climbing up to 4% and 2% respectively, with HSBC maintaining 'buy' ratings on OMCs.
