SpiceJet to add 8 Boeing 737 planes on lease

SpiceJet has signed lease agreements for 8 more Boeing 737 aircraft, raising its planned fleet additions to 18 ahead of the winter schedule starting late October. As of 15 September, out of its total 53-aircraft fleet, only 19 were in operation. The airline posted a net loss of ₹238 crore in the quarter ended June 2025.
