Equity Flows Turn Positive Following Two-Week Drought

Flipitmoney

Net Foreign Portfolio Investment flows into India turned positive last week, breaking a two-week streak of outflows with a net inflow of INR 27.4 billion. The rebound was driven by secondary market equity purchases and modest debt inflows. This marks the highest FPI inflows in the past ten weeks, attributed to improved geopolitics, a rebound in IT services, and a risk-on rally in global assets.
