Godfrey Phillips India director Samir Modi arrested in Delhi on charges of rape after a former employee filed a complaint. He was arrested by New Friends Colony police station personnel. Modi's legal team claims the allegations are false and an attempt to extort money. Shares ended 2.2% lower at Rs 3,493.95 on the BSE.
