Bank Nifty breaks 12-day streak on profit-taking, eyes 55,300 support

The Bank Nifty index declined 0.56% to 55,411.55 after a 12-session rally. ICICI Bank led the drop, shedding 1.3%. Other losers included HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, Axis Bank, and IDFC First Bank, losing up to 1%. Key support is at 55,600, and a break below may drag the index to 55,500 and 55,300.
