Vedanta wins manganese block in Andhra Pradesh

Vedanta acquired the Punnam manganese block in Andhra Pradesh through auction. The 152-hectare block is at the G4 exploration level, with 13.5 million tonnes of manganese reserve potential. Vedanta is the preferred bidder, subject to conditions including a performance bank guarantee and statutory clearances for a composite license.
