Wall Street stabilizes despite volatile trading

Wall Street's main indexes were muted with the Nasdaq easing from a record high. FedEx rose 2.7% after exceeding analyst estimates. The S&P 500 rose 0.04% to 6,634.75, and the Nasdaq gained 0.18% to 22,510.20. Industrials and energy indexes declined, while technology and consumer discretionary sectors rose. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was nearly flat at 46,149.28.
