India's pharmaceutical market grows 8% in August

The Indian Pharmaceutical Market saw an 8.1% year-on-year growth in August 2025. Chronic therapies drove momentum, increasing 12%, with cardiac and anti-diabetic medicines growing 11%. Acute therapies, such as anti-infectives, grew 6%. Respiratory and oncology segments saw strong gains, rising 19% and 23% respectively. The industry is projected to reach USD 130 billion by 2030.
