Stock market drops at week's start despite recent records

US stock futures fell 0.3-0.4% Monday, after last week's gains where the Dow and S&P 500 closed at fresh all-time highs. The S&P 500 and Dow rose 1.2% and 1%, respectively, with the Nasdaq jumping 2.2%. Markets expect two more interest rate cuts by the end of the year. This week's personal consumption expenditures price index will be closely watched for inflation pressures.
