RVNL emerges lowest bidder for Southern Railway project worth Rs 145 crore

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) was declared the lowest bidder for a Rs 145.35 crore contract with Southern Railway for designing and setting up traction substations. The project involves equipment supply, testing, and commissioning. RVNL also recently signed a joint venture pact with Texmaco Rail & Engineering to pursue railway projects, with its shares rising 11% this month.
