Pidilite shares plummet to 50% amid misleading market speculation

Pidilite Industries stock price hit a low of Rs 1,493.35 on BSE after adjusting for a 1:1 bonus issue. Shareholders eligible for free shares were supposed to have them on or before September 22. This wasn't a 51% crash, but rather the stock being traded ex-bonus after bonus shares were issued. The company's share price has seen a 9.14% decline over the past year.
