LIC-owned NBFC stock surges 5% on ₹30 crore CP redemption

An NBFC share- Paisalo Digital, a LIC-owned small-cap, rose over 5% on the BSE after announcing the full redemption and repayment of ₹30 crore commercial papers on maturity date September 23, its share price hitting an intraday high of ₹40.64. Benchmark index Sensex was flat at 82,149 at the same time.
