Fortis to expand obesity treatment clinics nationwide

Fortis Healthcare plans to open 13 more dedicated obesity clinics across India, following a surge in demand for weight-loss drugs and therapies, particularly Eli Lilly's Mounjaro and Novo Nordisk's Wegovy, which doubled in sales after launch. The Indian obesity drug market has grown fivefold to 6.28 billion rupees since 2021.
