FIIs net sell shares worth Rs 3,551 crore, DIIs make net buy on Sept 23

Foreign institutional investors net sold Rs 3,551 crore, while domestic institutional investors net bought Rs 2,671 crore. DIIs bought shares worth Rs 13,526 crore and sold Rs 10,855 crore. Over a year, FIIs have net sold Rs 2.27 lakh crore, while DIIs have invested Rs 5.54 lakh crore. The Sensex and Nifty 50 closed lower due to broader selling, with 2,216 stocks declining against 1,751 advances.
