Cochin Shipyard, KSOE ink ₹3,700 Crore shipbuilding expansion MoU

Cochin Shipyard Ltd. (CSL) partnered with HD Korea's KSOE to strengthen cooperation in shipbuilding. The collaboration will utilize CSL's infrastructure and KSOE's advanced technology to construct large vessels, including Suezmax tankers and Capesize bulk carriers. A new 800-acre fabrication facility in Kochi will be set up at an investment of ₹3,700 crore, generating around 2,000 direct jobs.
