Tata, Kalyani partner with HAL for AMCA fighter, alternatives explored

Tata Advanced Systems and Kalyani Group are exploring independent strategies to supply the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) without partnering with state-owned HAL. A $2 billion plan and an Expression of Interest (EoI) by the Aeronautical Development Agency have been issued, with a September deadline for responding, allowing private firms to engage in the developmental phase.
