KRBL Ltd, India's largest basmati rice exporter, received shareholder approval to diversify into real estate development and allied activities. The decision, passed at the 32nd Annual General Meeting, enables KRBL to acquire and develop immovable property alongside its core agri-foods business, following a 74% year-on-year net profit surge to ₹151 crore in the June quarter.
