Exide invests ₹80 crore in Bengaluru lithium-ion facility

Exide Industries Limited invested ₹80 crore in Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) on a rights basis, bringing its total investment to ₹3,882.23 crore. EESL is a fully-owned subsidiary involved in lithium-ion battery production for India's electric vehicle and stationary applications. This investment will fund its Bengaluru greenfield plant and other requirements.
