HAL order book surges to ₹2.7 lakh crore with Tejas jets deal

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd's (HAL) order book reaches ₹2.7 lakh crore after a ₹62,370-crore Defence Ministry order for 97 Tejas jets. HAL expects to deliver 30 jets annually by 2027 and complete 180 deliveries by FY32. 28 entities have expressed interest in collaborating with HAL on the 5th-generation fighter jet program, with final partnerships expected to be finalised by October.
