SpiceJet adds Airbus A340 to fleet for expanded reach

SpiceJet Limited will introduce the wide-body Airbus A340 to its fleet by end-month, boosting capacity to meet rising demand. The aircraft will enter operations in early October on a wet lease and could transition to a damp lease, and SpiceJet plans to retain it long-term. A second A340 is under negotiation.
