Coal India Ltd and Singareni Collieries Co Ltd announced a ₹1.03 lakh reward for non-executive workers, impacting 2.1 lakh CIL and 38,000 SCCL employees. The payment, with a total financial implication of ₹2,153.82 crore and ₹380 crore, aims to boost productivity, morale and job satisfaction. The payment will be credited pro-rata based on attendance.
