Tata Motors appoints Shailesh Chandra as MD & CEO from October 1

Shailesh Chandra has been appointed as Tata Motors' new Managing Director and CEO from October 1. Meanwhile, Group CFO PB Balaji will resign on November 17 and take charge as Jaguar Land Rover's CEO. Dhiman Gupta has been appointed as the new Tata Motors CFO, also effective November 17. Chandra, a veteran of the company, led its electric mobility strategy.
