GSK CEO Emma Walmsley resigns, succeeded by Luke Miels

Emma Walmsley, GSK Plc CEO, is stepping down after almost nine years. She will be succeeded by Luke Miels, the company's chief commercial officer, effective January 1. Miels joined GSK in 2017 and has responsibility for global medicines and vaccines business, with a focus on rebuilding the oncology portfolio.
