Bharat Electronics surges on hopes of Army's RFP for QRSAM system order

Bharat Electronics surged 2% as top gainer on Nifty 50 index, following reports of receiving the Indian Army's RFP for Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missile (QRSAM) system, 'Anant Shastra', costing around Rs 30,000 crore. BEL expects to receive the order by February-March or Q4 FY2025, and the project is set to boost its orderbook, currently over Rs 80,000 crore.
