Nifty ends below 24,650 due to financials, auto sector

The Sensex settled at 80,364.94, down 0.08%, while the Nifty closed at 24,634.90, also down 0.08%. Top gainers included Titan, Trent, and Tata Steel. The Bank Nifty ended in green at 54,461, rising 0.13%. Transport stocks rose 3.5%, led by strong sectors such as non-ferrous metals, beverages, and gems and jewellery.
