Avenue Supermarts takes Rs 100 crore short-term loan

Avenue Supermarts Limited, operator of D-Mart retail chain stores, raised Rs 100 crore in 91-day commercial paper with a 6% coupon rate, listed on BSE with a 'ICRA A1+' credit rating. The company also opened a new store in New Delhi, bringing the total number of D-Mart stores to 431 across 11 markets.
