Tata Motors demerger effective tomorrow, key dates announced

Tata Motors shares rose 1.5% to Rs 682.55, ahead of its demerger effective October 1, creating two listed entities: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (ex-JLR) and Tata Motors Ltd (commercial vehicles). Shareholders will receive one new share for every current share held. The commercial entity's listing is set for November.
