Indian stock market sees 1% gain this week

The NSE Nifty 50 rose 58 points to 24,894, while the S&P BSE Sensex added 224 points to 81,207, both indices gaining nearly 1% for the week. Sectoral indices led by PSU banks and metals closed in the green, up 4% for the week. Top gainers included Tata Motors, Shriram Finance, Hindalco, Tata Steel, and Hero MotoCorp.
