Vodafone Idea shares rise ahead of AGR plea hearing

Vodafone Idea Ltd (VIL) shares rose 3.76% to Rs 8.84 on October 3 as the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the telco's plea to quash additional Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) demands for the period until 2016-17 on October 6. VIL filed the plea seeking a comprehensive re-assessment of AGR dues and has Rs 5,606 crore outstanding for 2016-17.
