BSE launches health index to track hospital stocks

BSE Index Services Pvt. Ltd. launched the BSE Hospitals Index, a sectoral index to track hospital stocks in India. It has 15 constituents and is weighted by free-float market capitalization. The top 10 constituents include Fortis Healthcare (20.91%) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprises (19.52%). The index has a total return of 25.54% over 1 year and 21.83% since inception.
