Vedanta posts record alumina and aluminum output

Vedanta Ltd reported its operational performance for Q2 ended September 30, 2025. The company achieved highest-ever quarterly alumina production (653 kt, 31% YoY), aluminium production (617 kt, 1% YoY), and pig iron production (238 kt, 26% YoY). Zinc India recorded 258 kt mined metal production, a 1% YoY increase. Shares ended at ₹470.80, up 1.30%.
