NSE reduces trading lot sizes for Nifty and Bank Nifty

NSE has reduced market lot sizes for derivative contracts of four indices, making them cheaper for traders. The Nifty futures and options contract lot size decreased from 75 to 65, and monthly contracts of Nifty Bank and Nifty Financial Services were reduced to 30 and 60, respectively. NSE said the change keeps contract values within Sebi guidelines of a ₹15 lakh minimum lot value.
