Kotak Bank shares surge 2% on Q2 results

Kotak Mahindra Bank shares rose 1.7% to Rs 2,138, fueled by 14.4% year-on-year growth in average total deposits to Rs 5,10,138 crore and 14.6% year-on-year growth in average net advances to Rs 4,47,809 crore. Current and Savings Account balances increased 11.2% year-on-year to Rs 2,23,791 crore, with average CASA deposits up 6.2% year-on-year to Rs 1,98,250 crore.
