Senco Gold shares drop 4% as Q2 results meet expectations

Shares of Senco Gold tumbled 4.5% to their day’s low of Rs 323.90 on the BSE on Thursday. Senco Gold's revenue rose 6.5% year-on-year in Q2 FY26 and 17.8% for the first half. The company faced headwinds from a high base effect, seasonal demand, and GST reduction. Gold prices averaged a record Rs 1,16,500 per 10 grams, up 43% year-on-year. Diamond jewellery sales grew 12% and silver 54% in Q2.
