TCS reports significant Q2 headcount decline amidst restructuring

Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) employee headcount decreased by 19,755 on a net basis in fiscal Q2, despite a 2% reduction target (12,000 employees) and lower attrition of 13.3%. Following this increase, the company now employs 613,069 people, having added 5,090 employees sequentially in the June period.
