China wins over India in Asian market allocation: Jefferies' Chris Wood

Flipitmoney

Jefferies' Chris Wood trimmed India's weight by 1% in his Asia ex-Japan thematic portfolio and raised China's to 2%, citing India's underperformance. India's long-only portfolio fell 7.4% in Q3, underperforming its benchmark, while China's jumped 23.1%. Wood maintained the portfolio's overall long-term performance, but adjusted to reflect China's concerns over high US market valuations.
