Indian Stocks Recover on Sectoral Gains Amid Dollar Reprieve

Nifty rose 103.55 points or 0.4% to 25,285.35, while Sensex ended 328.72 points higher at 82,500.82. Both indices gained 1.6% for the week. The IT index rose 4.9% and the Bank index gained 1.8%, with foreign portfolio investors net buying shares worth Rs 459.2 crore on Friday and domestic institutions buying Rs 1,707.8 crore. VIX eased by 0.2% and nears 10.1 with Nifty resistance near 25,500.
