Air India told to recheck Boeing 787 systems

India's DGCA directed Air India to reinspect Boeing 787 aircraft's emergency power system and asked Boeing to provide a report on preventive steps to avoid un-commanded deployments of the Ram Air Turbine (RAT). The directive comes after recent incidents, including an unexpected RAT deployment on an Amritsar-Birmingham flight and a Vienna-Delhi flight diverting due to system failures.
