Indian stocks plummet on global trade tensions

Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty opened lower, down 0.49% and 0.5% respectively. Losses in financial and oil & gas shares were driven by renewed global trade tensions after Donald Trump's trade dispute with China escalated.
