Small-cap stock rises 5% amid market sell-off

A smallcap stock- Spice Lounge Food Works stock rose 5 per cent to ₹38.69, hitting its upper circuit, after opening at ₹38.69 against its previous close of ₹36.85. Despite weak market sentiment and the Sensex being 0.44 per cent down, the stock initially pared gains to trade 2.25 per cent up at ₹37.68.
