Vodafone shares fall as SC defers AGR plea hearing

After the Supreme Court postponed the telco's appeal against the government's additional AGR demand until October 27, Vodafone Idea Ltd.'s (VIL) stock dropped 2% on October 13. On October 13, at 11:45 a.m., VIL shares were down 2% at Rs 8.87 each. In opposition to the Department of Telecommunications' (DoT) new demand of Rs 5,606 crore for the fiscal year 2016–17, VIL had submitted a new appeal.
