IREDA Q2 profits rise 41% on improved asset quality

Shares of state-run Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) recovered from the lows of the day to gain as much as 2.3% on Tuesday, October 14. IREDA's September quarter results show Net Interest Income increased 49.5% to ₹817 crore and net profit increased 41.5% to ₹549 crore. Gross NPA decreased to 3.97%, while loans sanctioned rose 86% to ₹33,148 crore.
