LIC to introduce 2 new policies: Jan Suraksha, Bima Lakshmi

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) launched two new products: LIC Jan Suraksha, a low-cost microinsurance plan, and LIC Bima Lakshmi, a life insurance and savings plan. Available from October 15, these non-participating, non-linked schemes offer convenient payment options and cater to individual needs. LIC's share price traded 0.8% higher despite a weak Indian market trend.
