Electricity tribunal seeks new IEX Market Coupling plea

The Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) has ordered IEX to submit an amended plea in the market coupling case, adding Grid Corporation, Power Exchange, and Hindustan Power Exchange as respondents. IEX had challenged CERC's July 23 order, citing it as "arbitrary" and violating power market norms. The petition is to be revised within a week and hearing is set for October 30, 2025.
