Markets end lower as Nifty drops below 25,200, Sensex plunges

The Sensex ended at 82,029.98, down by 0.36%, while the Nifty finished at 25,145.50, falling 0.32%. The Nifty Bank closed the day at 56,496.45, down 0.23%.
