ICICI Lombard shares surge 6% after 18% YoY profit jump

ICICI Lombard General Insurance's net profit rose 18% year-on-year to Rs 819 crore in Q2 FY26, driven by strong retail health performance and improved motor and fire lines. The insurer's combined ratio rose to 105.1% while its solvency ratio remained strong at 2.73x, above the regulatory minimum. The stock zoomed 6% to Rs 1,969.45.
