LG to tap India's software expertise for chip, AI development

LG Electronics CEO William Cho plans to utilise India's software expertise for semiconductor, robotics, and AI development and expand exports through free trade agreements. The company will double R&D manpower in India to 1,000 by 2027 and set up more factories to take advantage of the country's fast-growing GDP.
