SBI to issue Rs 7,500 crore in Basel-III bonds

State Bank of India Ltd. (SBI) plans to raise up to Rs 7,500 crore through 10-year Basel-III compliant Tier-II bonds. The bond issue has a base size of Rs 5,000 crore with a greenshoe option of up to Rs 2,500 crore. Documents for the issue are expected to be uploaded this week for bidding to take place.
