LG India's bankers charged higher fees than Tata's

LG Electronics India paid Rs 226 crore to 5 banks for its $1.3 billion IPO, while Tata Capital handed Rs 159 crore to 10 arrangers for its $1.7 billion deal. LG's banks earned Rs 45 crore each, almost triple Tata's average. LG's IPO ended as India's most oversubscribed billion-dollar deal in 17 years, while Tata's rose 1.4% on its opening day.
