India's NIFTY Index Hits 4-Month High

The Nifty rose 261.75 points or 1.03 percent to 25,585.30, surpassing 25,600 for the first time since June 27. The Sensex increased 862.23 points or 1.04 percent to 83,467.66. Key sectors including auto, bank, consumer durable, and realty gained 0.5-1.7 percent. Over 160 stocks touched their 52-week high, including Nestle India and HDFC AMC.
